Hannah is a senior at UA double majoring in Dance and Mathematics, with minors in Computer Science and General Business. Before attending UA, Hannah danced with Divine Dance Center in Roanoke, Virginia, starting at the age of two. She received numerous dance and academic honors throughout her high school career, most notably being named a National Merit Scholar.
Since attending UA, Hannah has gotten the opportunity to perform the works of Jim Cooney, Janice Rosario, and Lawrence Jackson as a member of the Alabama Repertoire Dance Theatre. She has also performed in student works showcased in Dance Alabama! concerts, Dance Alabama Film Festival, Greater Giving, Capstone Christmas, and Dance Collection. Beyond the UA campus, Hannah has also been privileged to perform at the Alabama Dance Festival for the past two years. For the last two years, Hannah served on the executive board of The Dance Honor Society of Alabama, being named Vice President as a junior. This year, Hannah has accepted a work-study position with the UA Theatre and Dance Department in dance costuming. Hannah is so honored to be serving as the President of Dance Alabama! this year and hopes to pursue dance professionally after graduation. |
